2016 Gala - Dropping off your goods
WANTED: donations of second hand books and toys for this year's Gala Day.
Please drop off all donated items to Room 8.
Please remember: there will be no White Elephant or Clothing/Shoe stalls at this years event.
DONATION GUIDELINES
It would be great if you could have a good look at the items you are donating and make sure they are fit for sale. From previous experience, we have a couple of requests please:
Books:
No weekly magazines please (e.g. New Idea, Woman's Day)
No cassettes or videos (sorry but they just don't sell anymore)
Toys:
Please check these are in good saleable condition with no broken or missing pieces.
GENERAL INFORMATION
Boxes and Bags
Any spare banana boxes we can use for sorting and plastic grocery bags for our stall holders would be appreciated.
Please sort as you drop off
We would really appreciate you taking a few minutes to put your goods in the right place as you leave them. We don't have full-time sorters this year, so lets see if we can all help make this process go smoothly.
Please appreciate that we are not an area to dispose of your rubbish. Annually we spend lots of time sorting and disposing of donated goods that clearly are unfit for sale.
Drop off times
For security reasons, please drop off goods between school hours. Items can be dropped off at Room 8.
Please don't leave goods outside the door during the weekend or in the evening as it unfortunately seems to encourage the vandals.
Last Day for Drop Off
The last day for dropping off items is Thursday 17th March 2015 (so we have time to sort and price them before the big day).
Thank you
And last (but certainly not least) we thank you for choosing to donate your items to the school. As they say on those Air NZ flights... we appreciate you had a choice in how you disposed of your unwanted treasures, so thank you for choosing us.
