2014 Gala - Dropping off your goods
The school hall is now open for you to drop off donations of second hand books and toys for this years Gala Day.
Please remember: there will be no White Elephant or Clothing/Shoe stalls at this years event.
It would be great if you could have a good look at the items you are donating and make sure they are fit for sale. From previous year's experience, we have a couple of requests please:
No weekly magazines please (e.g. New Idea, Woman's Day)
No cassettes or videos (sorry but they just don't sell anymore)
Please check these are in good saleable condition with no broken or missing pieces.
Boxes and Bags
Any spare banana boxes we can use for sorting and plastic grocery bags for our stall holders would be appreciated, just drop them off to the school hall.
Please sort as you drop off
Labelled boxes have been left in the hall for you to sort goods as you drop them off. We would really appreciate you taking a few minutes to put your goods in the right place as you leave them. We don't have full-time sorters this year, so lets see if we can all help make this process go smoothly.
Please appreciate that we are not an area to dispose of your rubbish. Annually we spend lots of time sorting and disposing of donated goods that clearly are unfit for sale.
Drop off times
For security reasons, the school hall is only open from 8.30am until 3pm after school for dropping off goods. Please don't leave goods outside the door during the weekend or in the evening as it unfortunately seems to encourage the vandals.
Last Day for Drop Off
The last day for dropping off items is Wednesday 19th March 2013 (so we have time to sort and price them before the big day).
And last (but certainly not least) we thank you for choosing to donate your items to the school. As they say on those Air NZ flights... we appreciate you had a choice in how you disposed of your unwanted treasures, so thank you for choosing us.
